CANCELLATION TERMS & REFUND GUIDELINES
1 - Cancellation Procedure
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and shall become effective only upon written acknowledgment by the Company.
2 - Cancellation Charges
Cancellation charges shall apply as follows:
- 60 days or more prior to arrival: Deposit refundable.
- 59 to 30 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total tour cost retained.
- 29 to 15 days prior to arrival: 75% of the total tour cost retained.
- 14 days or less prior to arrival, or no-show: 100% non-refundable.
3 - Supplier-Specific Non-Refundable Components
Certain components — including issued air tickets, restricted-area permits, monument tickets, festival registrations, palace hotel reservations, special event bookings, and other prepaid services — may be fully non-refundable in accordance with supplier terms, irrespective of the above cancellation timelines.
4 - Refund Processing
Refunds, where applicable, shall be processed within 21 to 30 banking days following confirmation of cancellation and receipt of refundable amounts from the respective suppliers.
Bank charges, foreign exchange fluctuations, currency conversion costs, and transaction fees shall be deducted from the refundable amount.
5 - Cancellation by the Company
In the event of cancellation by the Company due to force majeure or circumstances beyond reasonable control, the Client may opt for:
- A credit note valid for future travel within a specified period; or
- A refund of recoverable amounts, strictly subject to supplier recovery policies.
6 - No Refund for Unused Services
No refunds shall be payable for:
- unused services
- voluntary withdrawal during the tour
- early departure after commencement of services
- missed sightseeing, meals, transfers, or activities due to the Client’s personal reasons
7 - Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for cancellation, delay, disruption, or modification of services caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, pandemics, public health emergencies, government restrictions, strikes, road closures, political unrest, or transport disruptions.
8 - Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Cancellation Terms & Refund Guidelines shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
Any disputes arising in relation to cancellations, refunds, payments, or interpretation of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sri Lanka.
